To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer 4.0, perform the following steps:
From the View menu, click Internet Options.
From the Advanced tab, scroll to Java VM. Click to select Java logging enabled, Java JIT compiler enabled, and Java console enabled.
Click OK.
From the File menu, click Close.
